Mexico will not renegotiate the North American No cost Trade Agreement or any other part of its relationship with the United States through social media or the push, the Mexican govt declared Sunday.

Mexico City launched the assertion in an apparent response to a series of provocative tweets by President Trump on Sunday in which he referred to as NAFTA the “worst trade offer ever designed,” argued that Mexico and Canada ended up becoming “very difficult” and concluded that he “may have to terminate” the tri-country trade pact.

For the duration of the presidential campaign, Trump repeatedly assailed NAFTA, which went into outcome on Jan. 1, 1994, significantly easing trade boundaries concerning the United States, Mexico and Canada. The trade offer, Trump charged, had caused the decline of U.S. work to Mexico and the closure of producing crops in the United States.
