Jack Dangermond has a new way of branding his Redlands tech enterprise: “the science of exactly where.”
Esri launched the strategy this week with a 94-next movie kicking off its once-a-year Builders Summit in Palm Springs, adopted by a five-minute welcome by Dangermond.
“We have been functioning hard at coming up with the terms that simplify what we do and what you do,” he stated. “What is the science of exactly where? Conveniently said, it’s the science of geography and the tech of GIS introduced jointly … All the tech terms that we have tried out in excess of the previous four decades have not quite match.”
